The homeowners were eager for a major update and took the first steps themselves by completely gutting the main level. This created a blank slate and set the stage for an incredible transformation. With the space cleared, we tackled significant structural improvements, including extensive self-leveling and modifications to the floor and support system—essential updates for a home of this age.
Embracing Open-Concept Living
One of the biggest goals of the remodel was to create an open-concept layout. To maximize space and improve flow, we not only removed walls but also relocated the kitchen entirely. The new design enhances functionality and efficiency, seamlessly connecting the kitchen, dining, and living areas.
Timeless Kitchen Design with Amish-Built Cabinetry
To complement the home’s warmth and character, the new kitchen features stunning Amish-built cabinetry. These handcrafted cabinets provide exceptional durability and a classic aesthetic, ensuring they stand the test of time while adding a touch of elegance to the space.
