Kitchen Remodel, Madison | Adnan and Nasia Said
Adnan and Nasia Said became members of our remodeling family last summer when we... installed our Absolute Gutter System on their home. The Said's were so happy with their experience, that they were quickly discussing a kitchen and basement remodel with our Designers.
Our Designers were working directly with Adnan and Nasia on the designs for the interior spaces of their kitchen and basement last fall. While working on the designs for the two spaces, their home was hit by the hail storm that swept through Madison last September. So, in additional to the interior work that we were going to be doing, we also ended up completing a new roof, siding, some windows and stone work. Needlesstosay, our crews have been busy on the Said home!
For the interior project, the kitchen layout remained essentially the same, with a few small adjustments to better fit the homeowner’s needs. In the end, the highlight was definitely the new curved peninsula and other fabulous product selections, including granite tops, Brazilian cherry floors, a custom tile back splash and state of the art appliances!
For the basement remodel, a little more time was spent in the design phase, trying to fit a new bathroom into a convenient, yet feasible location. The Said’s basement had a lot of duct work and pipes that hang exceptionally low, which makes a lot of the space unusable!
After many different ideas and a walk through to get the expert opinions of our plumber, electrician, HVAC guy and lead carpenter, we came up with a great solution that incorporated a full bathroom, bedroom and family area for the Saids.
For the exterior work that we completed after the September hail storm, we installed 30-year GAF shingles and some Sherwood windows. The highlight of the exterior work was installing our Permanent Exterior seamless steel siding. With our Permanent seamless steel siding, the Said's will NEVER have to worry about hail damage to their siding EVER again, for the life of their home!
