- Kitchen Remodel – before
Diane Schultz became our client in 2006 when we put a new roof and gutters on her home in Madison. She was very excited to give us a call earlier this year when she decided it was time to remodel her kitchen! We were just as pleased to receive that call, as we love to continually work with our clients over the years to improve every aspect of their home!
In her eyes, Diane’s kitchen was too small and impractical for all of the entertaining she likes to do – especially because it was separated from her dining area. She dreamed of a wide open space that could encompass both, but was unsure if this was even feasible, as it seemed that the wall separating the two was most likely load bearing. This was indeed the case, but we were still able to open up the wall and just run asupport beam across the top, which didn’t infringe on the overall layout at all!
We were really able to open up the space with an L-shaped kitchen design, which then allowed enough room for her dining table right within it. Overall, Diane’s product selections came together beautifully, but the real eye-catcher is definitely the Rustic Alder custom glazed cabinets!
In addition to the “fun stuff,” we were also able to update her electrical panel, furnace, air conditioner, water softner and water heater. Finally, we also installed a roof over her existing concrete patio, which Diane finished off with retractable screens that really extend her living space several months out of the year – perfect for all the people she likes to have over!
Thank you Diane for giving us the opportunity to work with you again. There is nothing more rewarding than being invited back to a clients home to be asked to help with another project. Enjoy your beautiful new kitchen and patio!

I feel so envious! Well, I’d have your photos as my inspiration for my kitchen 🙂 Thanks for sharing this with us. My Mum’s really thrilled with the idea! Thanks a million!
