Kitchen Remodel, Windsor | Brent and Gloria Walsworth

The wall was removed to open up the kitchen and dining area
Prior to the kitchen remodel, a wall separated the kitchen and dining room

This month, we wanted to show you more ways you can freshen up your kitchen without doing a complete remodel. Brent & Gloria Walsworth of Windsor. We installed Crane insulated siding in Lighthouse Red for the Walsworth’s a few years ago, which made their house stand out beautifully in their neighborhood. Recently, the Walsworth’s decided it was time to focus on the inside of their house, particularly their kitchen! They wanted a way to open up their small kitchen, but still have it “separate” from their dining area. The solution was to take out the full wall that divided the two, create a peninsula with cabinets above that could be accessed from both sides, which makes setting the table a breeze! Brent & Gloria chose lovely light oak cabinets from Cabinetry Plus, with several nice features and new laminate tops that coordinated with their existing vinyl flooring, which we did not remove. The new design also included space for a dishwasher, which they didn’t have before. As you can see, their new kitchen came together wonderfully – the Walsworth’s are enjoying it too and already looking forward to future projects with Frey!
